We all have those moments where we stop and think, “Wait… how did I get here?” I ask myself that a lot—especially when I trace the winding, sometimes weird, always interesting path that’s led me to becoming a social media copywriter.

I didn’t take the straight road. If anything, my journey’s been a bit of a plot twist—a choose-your-own-adventure where I kept clicking on the unexpected options.
At 21, I graduated with an accounting degree. The world expected me to dive headfirst into spreadsheets and financial reports. But I found myself drawn to headlines and storytelling instead. (Turns out, I prefer words to numbers.)
By 22, I took another leap: I became the first woman in my family to say goodbye to the “safe path” and step into the world of self-employment. (My parents still aren’t 100% sure what I do, but they’re supportive… mostly).
And then there’s where I live: a tiny town of just 1,300 people. You’d think that would limit my reach, but thanks to the magic of the internet, I’ve worked with clients from cities with more zeroes than my hometown’s entire population. It’s proof that creativity isn’t bound by geography.
For a long time, I felt unsure about my non-linear path. But now I see the beauty in it. Maybe it’s the accountant in me that brings structure and clarity to my writing—and maybe my small-town roots help me see stories through a different lens.
This isn’t just another copywriting website ✍🏻
It’s a place where I share the messy, real, slightly chaotic (but always meaningful) journey of being a copy(writer)—someone who writes for work and for fun.
Cetoir is where personal stories meet professional insight—and where I occasionally sneak in a questionable joke or two.
If you’re curious about my work, my unexpected path into copywriting, or just want to chat about the ups and downs of building a creative career, you’re in the right place.
Take a look around, explore the blog, or come say hi on social media. I’d love to connect. 😉
